Have The Cutest Outfit At Your Super Bowl Party

For the first year probably ever, I’m feeling optimistic that women will actually care to read this article. It’s all thanks to our favorite NFL WAG, Taylor Swift. Sparks have been (very publicly) flying between Taylor and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, and Chiefs games have become star-studded events.

Swifties across the nation tune into football games each week for a chance to see Taylor screaming from a suite, cheering Travis on. They’re often treated to sighting os some of her celebrity friends like Blake Lively, Cara Delevigne, Hugh Jackman, and Ryan Reynolds, to name a few.

At the Chiefs game on October 1 with Swift in attendance, viewership among women increased dramatically. Billboard reports,

“Compared with the first three Sunday Night Football broadcasts of the season, ratings grew 53% among girls aged 12 to 17, 24% for women aged 18 to 24 and 34% for women over 35,”

So now that more women are getting into the NFL, from watching the Playoffs to learning about the players, it’s time to start planning your Super Bowl outfit. More important than the outcome of the game: curating a football-chic outfit to rival any WAG.

While you may not be as crafty as Kristin Juszczyk, wife of Kyle Juszczyk of the San Francisco 49ers and designer of Taylor Swift’s viral jacket, you can still throw together a cute outfit.

Whether you’re rooting for the San Francisco 49ers or the Kansas City Chiefs to win, there’s a football fit for everyone.

What To Wear To Your 2024 Super Bowl Party

I’ve seen lots of Taylor Swift Super Bowl Party TikToks and honestly, I love any way to make an event more aesthetically pleasing — especially if it's a male-dominated event like football and the Super Bowl. Goodbye to those kitschy Super Bowl chip’n’dips. And good riddance to the frat era Super Bowl banners.

Even if you’re not a football fan or cheering for any team in particular, you’re in luck since both teams are some shade of red. If you want to look involved without trying too hard, get out that red baby tee and a pair of baggy jeans and call it a night. Plus, you can bandwagon the winning team no matter the outcome.

For The Uninterested Super Bowl Attendee- Your Fave Sweat Set

Not that I’m uninterested, but this will be my Super Bowl outfit of choice. My favorite way to view a Super Bowl that my team isn’t in is to spend the day rotting on the couch with friends. For this marathon of a task, a sweat set is highly recommended.

My personal favorite is the Skims Cotton Fleece Oversized Sweatshirt and the matching Wide Leg Sweats. No sweat set has better quality, durable materials, and that perfect off-duty look. While it doesn’t currently come in red, who cares?!

For The Swiftie Super Bowl- A Red Cardigan

What could be more appropriate than an outfit made of Taylor Swift songs: red and cardigan? You can’t get more Swiftie than this. Half of the excitement of seeing Taylor at the games is also clocking what Chiefs-inspired outfit she has on. Plus, since it’s still the winter, you’re going to want an extra layer.

If you want to make it clear that you’re here to support the Swift Super Bowl, then your neutral red cardi will do just the trick.

For The 49ers Fan- 49ers Crop Top

The Chiefs aren’t the only ones with a famous WAG. 49ers running back Christian McCaffery’s fiance is none other than Olivia Culpo. She’s known for rocking her own gameday fits — even a few Kristin Jusyzcyk originals.

What I do know is that Culpo stays on trend, and would choose a crop top over your average jersey any day.

For The Chiefs Fan- Retro Chiefs Crewneck

I tried to choose something that I thought Taylor herself would wear…and for me, that’s a retro-inspired crewneck (I’ve never seen Swift in a hoodie). While red isn’t really my color, this crewneck would be my choice.

For The “I Just Want Both Teams To Have Fun” Viewer- Your Baggiest Jeans and A Tee

In a similar fashion to the “I Don’t Care” look, some people want to look on-trend with their Super Bowl outfit, but still feel comfortable. Right now, nothing will beat the baggy jean look with a tight t-shirt. It shows dimension, and accomplishes that effortless look without taking hours to curate.
