I Tried Kettle & Fire - Here’s My Honest Opinion

Now that winter is finally over and the days are growing brighter and warmer, I’m ready to turn my attention back to me and improve my overall wellness.

Working from home for so long had been truly challenging. I barely exercised and constantly snacked on junk food. There were days I didn’t leave my house at all. I gained some pounds, and my joints were stiff and painful from all the computer work and lack of movement. It was time to get the real me back!

My friend recommended that I introduce bone broth to my diet as it promotes healthy joints, boosts the immune system, detoxifies the body, and even helps with weight loss and digestion. S wapping out chips and chocolate bars for something healthier sounded like exactly what I needed.

When I clicked through bone broth recipes online, I realized how time-consuming it is to make. I’d need to cook it for at least 12 hours!? I called my friend and thanked her for her thoughtful suggestion, but no this was not for me. She laughed and assured me that I didn’t have to work so hard. She gets her broth from Kettle & Fire.

Ordering soup online didn't sound healthy to me. I was sure that it would be packed with artificial flavors and probably has zero nutrients. I couldn't even imagine the awful taste. Still, I decided to check out their website and was pleasantly surprised.

Kettle & Fire uses real bones sourced from 100% grass-fed cattle. Their bone broth is completely free of hormones, antibiotics, and artificial flavors – no GMOs – just organic herbs and vegetables. Not to mention that they simmer their broth for 20+ hours and have a 3rd party test it to ensure the highest nutrient density – I was impressed.

Depending on your health goals, there's even an option on their website that helps with your broth selection. Their flavors sounded so healthy and unique, I wanted to try them all. Kettle & Fire’s Weight Loss recommendations include:

  • 100% Grass-fed Beef Bone Broth
  • Chicken Bone Broth
  • Mushroom Chicken Bone Broth
  • Turmeric Ginger Chicken Bone Broth
  • Coconut Curry & Lime Chicken Bone Broth
  • Lemongrass Ginger Beef Bone Broth

The ordering process was super simple, and my broth arrived right on time. I love the sustainable packaging and how easy it is to prepare. I simply heat it. And if you like your soup cold, you don't even have to do that.

Kettle & Fire has a shelf life of 2 years, so you can stock up without worrying about it going bad. There are tons of ideas about how to incorporate the broth into your diet. Some people like to drink their broth in the morning and others mix it into their favorite recipes. I like mine as a separate dish for lunch or dinner.

The aroma of their Mushroom Chicken Bone Broth is mouthwatering. I’ll never forget the first spoon. I just couldn’t get enough of that rich and flavorful taste – sooo yummy!

Their broth keeps me satiated between meals and makes me feel more energized and healthier overall! $7.99 for 6oz isn’t bad at all, plus, if you subscribe, you save!
