We especially love the tart bite of fresh berries and the zing of ginger to keep us cool. The Banana-Berry Smoothie, courtesy of Good Housekeeping is always a knock-out. Here's how to make it.
In a blender, purée one small banana with 6 ounces of pineapple juice, a half cup of ice, 6 ounces each of blueberries and raspberries (or blackberries), 2 teaspoons of honey, and one teaspoon of grated and peeled fresh ginger. And voilà. In no time, you'll have two servings of delicious smoothie to get you through the hottest day. All you need is a blender. Enjoy!
