A Game-Changer For Restless Nights & Early Mornings
The Dodow is described as a much simpler device. It's a metronome with a light system that teaches you how to fall asleep naturally in 25 minutes or less. It uses a hypnotizing blue light to coordinate and slow down your breath, stimulating your body's natural resting state.
The Dodow even looks simple, a small white disc shape that won't take up too much space on your nightstand. It is very easy to set up, being battery-operated but only comes with two options; an eight-minute session or a 20-minute session to get to sleep. They advise you to start with the 20-minutes.
Tap once for the eight-minute cycle and twice for the 20-minute cycle. From there the blue light will reflect up onto your ceiling and all you have to do is match your breathing to the pulsating light. The idea is that it will slow down your breathing, helping you fall asleep.
It definitely takes some time to get used to it and Dodow advises consistent use in order to see any benefits.
After using both, Hatch Restore is clearing miles ahead of Dodow in every way. Dodow offers a one size fits all approach that doesn't work for everyone, especially when sleeping is so personal. Hatch offers everything you would need to create your path in and out of sleep.
With Hatch Restore we can schedule our sleep, set a wind-down routine, meditate, shut off from the world, and ensure we enjoy soothing sleep sounds throughout the night.
If you struggle with falling asleep, staying asleep, or even waking up then we recommend getting yourself a Hatch Restore. It is the best thing we did for ourselves in a long time!
